General Aviation's First Pulse Oximeter and CO Detector - FAA TSO CERTIFIED
Aero 455-101-001 Details & Description
CO Guardian proudly announces aviation’s first built-in pulse oximeter for airplane panels. This Life Guardian Aero-455 has
been designed for all aircraft with limited panel space.

This small pulse Oximeter with CO Detector mounts easily in most panels and transmits data to the MFD’S via RS-232. Current
MFD manufacturers include Electronics International, Advanced Flight Technologies, Grand Rapids Instruments and on
upcoming releases of Avidyne Entegra Release 9.

The unit transmits the pilot’s blood oxygen levels, heart rate statistics, CO Level, cabin temperature and cabin altitude to the
MFD’s display units. The pilot inserts an index finger in the unit and quickly gets readouts so he/she can determine his/her
general physical and environmental condition. Aero-455 reminds the pilot when he/she passes 10K and every 30 minutes
above 10K.

Please Note: This unit will be shipping April 2010 and your credit card will not be charged until the unit ships.

Recalibration
Warranty
Videos
Although the CO sensors in our CO detectors have a life of 5 to 7 years under ideal conditions and if protected from all external
contaminants, we recommend a re-calibration of the units after 5 years. The CO sensor is very sensitive, and certain external
substances in the ambient air can change its characteristics and affect its reliability.

The re-calibration can be done by us for a flat fee ( Please contact CO Guardian for pricing information). This service includes
installation of a new CO sensor, re-calibration, and a complete system check. You get a fresh 12 month warranty.
The Aero 455 comes with a 1 year limited warranty. The warranty will be void if the unit has been opened or tampered with. If you
experience any problems with the unit, please call 1-800-639-7139 or email us at
support@coguardian.com and we will glad to
assist you and have the problem rectified.

As you will see on the videos shown below, we demonstrate how the AERO 455-101-001 behaves and works.
In the first video you will see how the units behaves when smoke from a cigarette flows over the sensor (smoke
from cigarettes contain CO) and how the display looks on the
AERO 55-101-003 display unit. In the second
video you will see how the pulse oximeter works and displays on the
AERO 55-101-003 display unit. Please
note that the finger is placed for several seconds before the data is shown on the display (real time video).
